Peninsula Three — An Airbnb designed to stand out
Three 50-storey towers being handed over. A wave of new Airbnb listings. How do you make one apartment the place guests choose?

Our clients had bought their first investment property in Dubai and asked us to furnish it for short-term rental. In a market full of similar-looking apartments, we needed to give this one a clear identity.
The first opportunity was hidden above us.
An unusually deep curtain recess made us question the ceiling height. We investigated and discovered that the apartment’s actual height was four metres, not three.
Before furnishing, we carried out a quick renovation: removed the suspended ceiling, added electrical connections where needed and repainted. That extra metre transformed the proportions of the space.

We brought them together with a nuanced cool wall colour and a stainless steel backsplash covering the existing glittery blue finish. Warm textiles and furniture textures brought balance to the cooler palette.
The windows cast a blue-green tint across the rooms. The kitchen had a bluish finish, and the bathroom was green and black. These elements were already setting the tone.
The colour palette came from working with the apartment’s limitations.
A few custom pieces added character and everyday function: a veneered dining table, a console filled with books and better bathroom storage.
We positioned the sofa and dining table so guests could enjoy the skyline while relaxing, eating or working. The television sits discreetly on the wall, leaving the windows as the focal point.
With four-metre ceilings and panoramic city views, the layout had an obvious starting point: the view.
The aim was simple: create an apartment guests would remember while scrolling—and want to stay in.
We also chose carefully where to spend. The large artwork—two by one and a half metres—is AI-generated, giving the room the scale it needed within the project’s budget.
